Phoenix Suns Roster Report 2009-11-02

Phoenix Suns Roster Report 2009-11-02ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Steve Nash; Shooting guard Leandro Barbosa; Small forward Grant Hill; Power forward Amar'e Stoudemire; Center Channing Frye. Bench -- Guard Jason Richardson; Forward Louis Amundson; Forward Jared Dudley; Guard Goran Dragic.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Steve Nash backed up his 18-point, 20-assist effort against Golden State with another double-double against Minnesota (14 points and 14 assists). That's the most assists Nash has recorded in his career following a 20-assist game. Nash now has 42 assists in three games this season (14 a game) compared to 29 assists (9.7) after three games last season.

--G Jason Richardson made his season debut after serving his two-game suspension and had 23 points. That's the 20th time Richardson has scored 20 points or more since joining the Suns, and Phoenix is 15-5 when he reaches that figure.

--F Grant Hill (23 points) has scored 18 or more in each of his first three games to start a season for the first time since 1999-2000, his final season with the Detroit Pistons. Hill also has double-doubles in back-to-back games -- he had only five double-doubles all of last season, and his second didn't come until the 44th game of the year (Jan. 29).

MEDICAL WATCH:

--C Robin Lopez (broken foot) is out until at least the end of November.
