At his current pace, Stoudemire should catch No. 3 Walter Davis (2,557) sometime this year.

--Phoenix committed a season-low eight turnovers on Thursday, the first time they have stayed in single-digits all season. Their previous low was 10 turnovers in the opening game of the season -- in San Antonio against the Spurs. But the Suns had five of their eight turnovers in the fourth quarter, leading to 10 of San Antonio's 25 points.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "These San Antonio games are like playoff games, they're very emotional. A lot of grabbing, a lot of things go on, but you just have to play through it and we didn't do it. We never could get (Manu) Ginobili under control tonight, 18 free throws; he was really just doing whatever he wanted to at times. He was getting by guys, and getting to the basket, and we did not do a good enough job of controlling him." -- Phoenix coach Terry Porter.
