--The Suns snapped a four-game losing streak on the road. They hadn't won away from Phoenix since Nov. 26 at Minnesota.
--The Suns are 15-3 in the 18 games they have topped 100 points this season. --The Suns have beaten the Thunder seven straight times and have won 13 of the last 17 meetings against Seattle/Oklahoma City.
--The Suns had 10 steals Monday, led by a career-high six from Leandro Barbosa.
--Two new Suns, guard Dee Brown (who made his debut) and forward Jared Dudley (who had played only two minutes in his first five games) scored their first Suns points and were on the floor when the Suns pulled away with a very small lineup (6-foot-8 Grant Hill was the tallest player on the floor) with a 10-1 run to take a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter.
--C Shaquille O'Neal passed Dominique Wilkins (26,668) for ninth on the all-time NBA scoring list with his 28-point effort. Now with 26,686 points, O'Neal needs only 24 points to catch No. 8 Oscar Robertson (26,710) as he works his way up the list.
--They have only three wins, but the Thunder had a double-digit lead in both games against the Suns before finally falling. The Suns won the first meeting (Nov. 25) without Shaquille O'Neal and won Monday despite losing Steve Nash nine minutes into the game due to back spasms.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I've been telling them all year, 'When they get it to me and let me do what I do, I can still put up those numbers.' Just because I'm 35, sometimes they think that he's old, he can't do it. Guys were looking for me, and I was just doing what I do." -- C Shaquille O'Neal, who had 28 points and 12 rebounds.
